Lee's latest series of images are inspired by views along the coastal walks of Sydney.


Lee MacCormick Edwards was born in Sydney, and holds a doctoral degree from Columbia University.  For the past fifty years, she has lived in the United States, but now resides in Sydney.   Lee is an art historian specializing in the arts and social history of the nineteenth century and has published many books and articles.  Lee has lectured in the United States, Europe, and Australia on nineteenth-century painting, architecture, and photography.  Her photographs, which she views as extensions of her interest in the arts of the nineteenth century, have been exhibited at the SoHo Photo Gallery, Sarah Lawrence College, and the Century Association in New York, as well as numerous other venues.
