The Vegetable Stand

The surreal vision found in Bennett's paintings evokes a delightful nostalgia. His large-scale canvases casually depict spaceships, submarines & aircraft in the the manner of artists such as Chris Foss & Peter Elson, combining these dynamic machines with unlikely domestic settings. Bennett's imaginative world is a pleasurable shock & a reminder of things that never happened but should have.
